I know that the occasional poem (one celebrating or memorializing an event) is a legitimate genre; however, PoetryRepairShop has not published such poetry. Recent events require a change in policy; this event is indeed international. I hope such poetry may give solace to those who suffered loss during the September 11 attacks. Personally, I have difficulty with the enormity, the Biblical proportions of this evil act. I know; some in the world will see the New York WTC fall as the tower of Babylon or as the walls of Jericho; but, I see it as a failure of faith, as the fall of Adam into total depravity; again Satan demonstrates complete hatred for the innocent. I pray victory for America in its enduring justice against to terror.
