Look Where We Worship

Ancient man worshipped the sun and moon.
He knew the earth was round and drew
A circle on the ground, then looked around
And saw the symbol fixed, so that all things
Living reflect the image of the creator.
We should worship the earth, because it's
Who we are, formed from dust, worthy
To breed life, we struggle to endure
Fenced in space marked with scars to live
In sad disgrace-we have tried, but failed
To reach the palace throne and all along
We walked this sacred ground unaware
Of it's profound beauty. Where do you
Look for God? In a church? Do you feel
His presence in the essence of who you are?
Stretch out your right hand-Now touch it
With your left. He's that close to your stone
Heart, waiting to lift you above the earth.

Standing,
Standing,
Standing without sleep

I'm not use to this dying decay

Looking down at my buddies
The smell of an expire platoon is harsh
For if I move, she'll explosively react
I guess I'm married or you can say “socially” attach
All she does is throw a fit
But she's quiet
Cause her first word was “click”

Been 3 days with only a hour's sleep
But my wife doesn't sleep nor eat
There's been no water or rescue for 3 days
The bugs found a nesting home among these 13 sleepy graves

For if I move she'll explosively react
I guest I'm married or you can say “socially” attach

I wonder if she's a live or a dud
Can't really say cause she wraps around my ankle,
So deeply in love

Hello, who's there?
Aw, a well wisher, no?
It's my father-in-law, you know
The man who left her here
He doesn't like me being on top of his daughter
Having an interracial relationship, I see we both agree

I think it's best to run now
Divorce…
