The cold is knowledge clear, blue sky clear none of your murky humid heartrocking or is the cold your blue message to my heart? Bright hard jewel blue sky not your kind of blue not the dreaming smoke blue of the thorn trees nhe blue of evening where the lover sees his girl in the soft cattle hoof mist This is blue summer weather the bees buzz head over heels in daffodil love everything's clear, the fall of a hawk the plume of river smoke white jet contrails for miles of open sky I prefer your dim blue uncertainties. No guarantees were ever placed upon Relationships begun so many years before, And yet I find myself a poor example Of accountability--or yours--if truth be known.
