In the Mail ... "I wish our clever young poets would remember my homely definitions of prose and poetry; that is, prose,-- words in their best order; poetry,-- the best words in their best order." -- Samuel Taylor Coleridge, "Table Talk" * There is this American poetry anthology I'd like to publish, and I have a publisher, but the government, where all the publishers in Hungary have to apply for money, doesn't want to support this book. So I thought I would write a letter with all the info and place it on some Bulletin Board to ask the readers to help us out. The anthology includes 27poets and about 100 poems by Academics and non academics, like Pinsky and Simic, and Ira Cohen and Rita Dove and so on. I think it's a great collection. I gathered them together and translated them in the last 6 years. I have finished 2 years ago, of course there are changes going on too, and since then I can't get the money together. I hope you can help me out. I'm talking around 5 - 8000 dollars.
