Creativity Workshops
I am Vivian Glusman, Administrative Associate of the Creativity Workshop, founded by Master teachers Shelley Berc and Alejandro Fogel. I wanted to let you know about our upcoming workshops, including our December 8 - 11 and our Spring workshops in New York City and Barcelona, and our summer workshops in Europe (Crete, Prague, Bruges, Florence, Barcelona and Dublin).
Whether you are in business, teaching, art, or science, our workshop can help you discover and nurture your unique ways of expression and break through the fears and blocks that inhibit creativity. If you are an educator, you can take the workshop and earn 3 grad or undergrad University credits.
Founded in 1993, the Creativity Workshop is dedicated to teaching people about their creativity and how to spark it and use it in all aspects of life, work, and creative expression. We do this through a series of exercises developed by the founders and directors, Shelley Berc and Alejandro Fogel. In a non-competitive, nurturing atmosphere, our workshops develop creative skills, expanded sense perception, innovative problem solving, inspired brainstorming, and new ways of looking at life as exciting and transformative. Exercises include writing and drawing using visualization work, associative thinking, storytelling, collaborative writing and art, journey mapping, and body relaxation. The teachers talks are on the creative process, including how to develop daily practice, how to get over your fear of failure, how to inspire yourself by collaborating with others, and how to get through your creative blocks.
New York City workshops: $750, tuition only. European workshops: start at $1,700 for tuition and 9-night accommodations. Airfares are not included. The workshops are taught by Berc and Fogel or our staff of certified Creativity Workshop teachers. The only requirements for the Creativity Workshop are curiosity about the creative process and a sense of playfulness.
