ELISHA PORAT
Last Time
As if I sensed it, as if you clearly knew, That this our final encounter it was lying joined me to you. You were generous, And when your pupils had dilated, I saw A radiant moisture. We were Subdued and we took our time. You Dressed and I retrieved A hair clip that had fallen. And when I returned From the mountain, I recalled the strange Words, that burst from you, in a whisper, Quite unexpectedly, in the throes of desire.

DAVE JACKSON
'if the snow...'
if the snow didn't melt and fall again in the shadow of the sun then the mother would not suckle the young if the rain did not fall in the forest and rise again in the clouds would we not cease to rejoice of course it is even as we say it is obvious that we miss the point the point it is in the seeking that we are lost lost as surely as the rusty pipe as surely as the rock in the stream lost and found again in the faith of the stream the faith of the rocks, the water itself, or ourselves as fragile as the rocks or flesh

Early Babylon Blues
We angels saw the Lord, uptown lookin' downtown... 'Let us go down to see the City and Tower... see what they're smokin', these misguided architects.' For pride had made trespass to forestall the scatter and short-circuit The Man, down ol' Babylon way. So God evicted fools... and linguists got the jobs.
