ONE MAN, 34, IS WILD TO START OVER AGAIN
last year his online business soared. Now, he's clearing debris from a gutted convenience store. Some tell him it's too soon to think about the future "but we have to do this while the will is thee. The longer we wait, the less likely it is to happen."

ONE MAN SAYS SOY SAUCE CAN'T WAIT
tho he lost his home and business and his grandmother is one of the thousands of people who are missing, probably dead. Still, he's kept an office. kept on and paid 45 employees, even welcomes two new workers. He gains inspiration from a sign in the wreckage of his factory "spreading gratitude through food."

TWO SISTER'S MAKING NOODLES FOR THOSE LEFT LIVING
the sisters spent three days looking for each other after their homes were washed way. Now, as evacuees living in a temple overlooking Kamaishi, they are not separable. They turned down pleas to live with their adult children, prefer to stay and cook for their fellow evacuees, many who are elderly. "lots of my neighbors died and I walked the streets, I was convinced she had been killed ,too. I only believed she was alive when I saw her with my own eyes
