Early April, Plum Beach
Sped drapes of wind shape the dune where grass has failed to cling. Gulls race, their effort more to not hurry than to. Bush pattern shadows wiggle lightly on sand. Then there's the grove where strangle themselves kinds of vines crawl up, pull down. The dune turns to earth and air velocity dies. Cells whirl as softly new buds show an intent as the sea, the sea sea (not far) still holds sharp waves on a vast motionless hurled without warning.

Ebook Pitch Pages Should Contain Major Sales Tools

A 'pitch page' or 'sales page' is your website that readers come to when clicking your link in search results. It is also called a 'landing page'. It will be the page that ultimately sells or does not sell your product so it has to be perfect. We talked about the proper way to write the copy another article. Sticking with that theme if you read other pitch pages and take notes, you will see a common pattern in most of them. Besides well written copy, they all contain major sales tools to sell the product. If you want to sell Ebooks online, your pitch page should contain these items for anybody to take your productseriously.

Your Picture Says a Thousand Words

First things first, your readers should know your face. Let them get to know you though your picture. By putting a picture of yourself on your pitch page you will immediately establish credibility with your reader. Some people use a picture of themselves alone, or themelves and their pets, boats, fancy cars etc. It is meant to create a connection so use them wisely but be honest. You also want to be sure it is a good picture. Have them taken in a studio professionally if you can't get a good one. This first impression means a lot.

Excerpts from Your Ebook

You can add excerpts from your Ebook by making a pdf or jpeg file of a portion of the page and uploading it as you would a picture onto your website. One common page is the table of contents. Another is a portion of a spreadsheet. Or if you are already successful, a snapshot of your sales for the day that is in the 'thousands'. It happens! Or some people just use excerpts in the way of phrases in quotes highlighted in yellow or in a blue or red font. It all contributes to your Ebook publishing.

Testimonials

To sell Ebooks online all of the successful publishers have the testimonial. So, add your testimonials. As it is important for your reader to see what others are saying about your product. Testimonials are key to build your image. Honest testimonials are as important as honest feedback. If you are new to Ebook marketing, I do not advise making up testimonials. Just leave them off at first. After you do sell a few copies of your Ebook, you will be able to get customer testimonials with ease.

Videos You can also add a video to help you sell your Ebook. It should be of you 'pitching' your product. However if you think you can get creative and show something to persuade your reader to buy, go for it. Just be relevant. There is a lot of creativity going on out there.

Free Bonuses

Also, throw in some bonuses. This can be consult time, special forms related to your Ebook, spreadsheets or graphics. Again get creative but stay relevant.

3D Ecover and Graphics

You have seen the 'Ebook' pictures that look like a real book but are not. They are usually 3D and have the author's picture, title of the Ebook and a slogan or description of the Ebook. These are merely sales tools that help make your sale. It is a good sales angle to have these graphics on your pitch page. You can buy software for about $100 that is stand alone software or sometimes cheaper for add on software that goes with Photoshop or other graphics creators. You should have graphics for your Ebook title, and any free 'bonus' materials you are including with your product purchase. So there you go. There are more ideas for you to make your pitch page more appealing to your readers. More appealing pitch pages can equal a successful sales pitch! The end result is a higher closing of sales when you're selling Ebooks online. You can do it! Go for it!

DAVID BARNES
The Orchard
26th Sept. 2001
Such sweet fruit held all in hand, eaten from the tree caressed by the gentle pith cover of the peach on my lips, juices melt on tongue a taste never felt, never touched never to be forgotten; passion adrift in light, twilight, flesh smooth down, mellow pliable tender, open to all; pain pleasure trickles dew soaked skins soar down in to indivisibility. Dewdrops sparkle on the peach a window, a soul, holds you captive pledges sensual electricity, an ecstasy of perpetual hunger under the leafy cover of the orchard; shaded from life forever floating in the void spent immersed, you and I fleetingly the fruit of the tree such sweet fruit to ripen.
