TURTLE

The turtle is gone. Part of me dies. 22 years in the tank. Reptile whispers Under the succulent. With this pass I riddle with holes. A shovel blade caked. Butterflies vanish. Death hardens the shell.

Austrian newshounds freshly whistle-blow, In stuck-in-a-groove captions That we’re vitally going into her finale… Stanney’s faint heart cretins Knocked knees at a prowling drake - Nobody would stagger its track. A monkey-sin rabble noosed it, Jack knife to the neck. Nevertheless he zombies, toddles, headless, Spirit-raising in bravura.
